Front Desk Receptionist and Content Creator

American Nails is looking for a dynamic Front Desk Coordinator & Content Creator who is as comfortable managing a busy salon floor as they are filming a viral videos on different social media platform. You will be the first point of contact for our luxury clientele and the creative voice behind our social media presence.

We don't just want a receptionist; we want a brand ambassador who can capture the "vibe" of our salon and turn it into engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities

1. The "Gold Standard" Greeting

• Provide a high-end, warm welcome to every client, ensuring they feel relaxed and pampered from the moment they walk in.
• Manage the check-in/check-out process with professional grace and efficiency.
• Offer refreshments and maintain the "modern luxury" aesthetic of the waiting area.

2. Social Media & Content Creation

• Content Capture: Identify "instagrammable" moments throughout the day—capturing high-quality photos and videos of fresh sets, specialty pedicures, and salon life.
• Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of beauty trends, viral audio, and transitions on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Engagement: Manage the salon’s social inbox, responding to DMs and comments with the brand’s vibrant and friendly voice.
• Execution: Post daily stories and grid content that reflects our vibrant atmosphere.

3. Salon Operations

• Master our booking software to schedule appointments accurately and maximize the artists' calendars.
• Handle phone inquiries, explain our specialty services (like our Organic Pedicures), and manage the waitlist.
• Maintain a pristine front-of-house environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Customer Service Pro: Experience in retail, hospitality, or salon environments with a focus on "above and beyond" service.
• Social Media Savvy: Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and CapCut (or similar editing apps). You should have a "good eye" for lighting and framing.
• Trend-Obsessed: You follow the latest in nail art, fashion, and digital culture.
• Multitasker: Ability to film a quick transition video between answering phones and greeting clients without breaking a sweat.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills (captions matter!).
