(Seasonal) Customer Service Associate
General Responsibilities/Job Summary
The Seasonal Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for providing responsive and accurate service to
customers in an efficient and Professional manner. The CSA will also process financial transactions
accurately and provide customers with information on bank products and services.
- Provide a high level of customer service, adhering to the WOW Customer Service standards.
- Describe, promote, and sell basic products and services, and refer customers to other appropriate team members of the Bank when necessary.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales referrals set by management.
- Accurately processes customer transactions including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and general ledger entries.
- Balances the CSA cash drawer and the Vault Cash on a daily basis and keeps differences within an acceptable level.
- Adheres to all bank policies and federal regulations including, but not limited to, Currency Transaction Reporting, Check Cashing Policy, Confidentiality of Customer Information, and Cash Management.
- Strict confidentiality, attendance and timeliness are required.
- Keeps current on Products and Services offered by the bank.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent Oral and written communication
- Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to maintain a team oriented work environment
- Strong math skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees and types of customers
- Computer Skills
- Will be available to work a Flexible work schedule to include Saturday
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year working in customer service, sales or a banking position is preferred
Required Certification/Licenses:
- NMLS not required, but would be considered a plus; Valid Driver's License
Travel Requirements:
- Localized travel within the bank's footprint
Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
- Typically sits or stands for sustained periods of time at a desk and/or computer
- Typically requires viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading
- Ability to receive and deliver detailed information through oral and written communication
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
Working Conditions
Climate controlled/sufficiently illuminated professional office environment. Ability to perform essential functions/duties through use of appropriate computer and general office equipment.
