Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

This position oversees maintenance operations across our campus, including Emmanuel Nursing Center, Maria Joseph Manor, Nazareth, and The Meadows . The Maintenance Supervisor assists in planning, directing, and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance programs while supporting the overall mission and values of our organization.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance department operations
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
• Assign and oversee maintenance projects and repairs
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets established standards
• Assist with campus safety, fire, and security operations
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance repairs
• Maintain department records, reports, and documentation
• Assist with budget planning and equipment procurement
• Coordinate snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Support environmental services and housekeeping operations as needed
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff
• Assist with transportation services when necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Maintenance experience
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general maintenance systems
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
