HR Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Assistant to support our client by contributing to a large-scale internal documentation audit focused on employment eligibility records. This onsite role in Media, PA is ideal for detail-oriented professionals looking to gain hands-on HR experience in a structured environment. As a temporary team member, you will partner closely with HR to ensure compliance, accuracy, and proper record-keeping across active and archived employee files. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or HR professionals between roles to build real-world exposure in compliance-heavy HR operations.
Compensation:
$23–$25/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of employment eligibility documents for accuracy and compliance
- Examine active and separated employee files to verify correct documentation and retention
- Log and categorize discrepancies using spreadsheets or internal audit tools
- Communicate with employees and leaders to request updated or missing materials
- Support project progress by maintaining organized audit records and status updates
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in documentation
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and tracking tools
- Excellent communication skills for outreach and follow-up
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Open to entry-level candidates with an interest in HR compliance
