RETAL PA, LLC is part of the RETAL Group, a global leader in PET packaging solutions. Our Donora, PA facility manufactures PET preforms for the beverage industry and is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

RETAL PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and has experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair production machines and equipment, including mold changes
• Respond to emergency/unscheduled equipment repairs during production, and perform scheduled maintenance during planned service windows
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to guide repairs and service
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, then test and adjust equipment
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment as needed
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them to supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with safety, fire, and electrical safety standards

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills across electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders
• Comfort using hand/power tools and material handling equipment

Physical Requirements

This role regularly requires standing, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands/arms to reach, handle, and feel. Employees will occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
