Legal Document Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Legal Document Specialist to join our client to support the delivery of accurate and efficient legal documentation within a structured production environment. This onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas while managing a dynamic workflow of assignments. The position focuses on producing high quality legal documents, meeting court requirements, and maintaining consistency across deliverables. This is a contract to hire opportunity designed for professionals who thrive in organized, team supported settings.
Compensation:
$30 to $35 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Document Specialist:
- Produce, edit, and finalize a wide range of legal documents to support various practice areas while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage workflow by selecting and completing assignments from a centralized queue based on skillset and priorities
- Collaborate with team members and attorneys to clarify requirements, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality standards
- Ensure proper formatting, filing readiness, and adherence to court specific electronic filing procedures
- Utilize document management systems and office tools to organize, track, and maintain legal files and records
- At least three years of experience in a law firm environment in roles such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or similar
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and PDF editing tools, along with document management systems
- Working knowledge of electronic filing processes and court requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions and manage competing priorities
- Professional communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering responsive, service oriented support
This role provides hands on experience working across a wide range of legal practice areas, offering exposure to diverse types of cases and documentation.
