Executive Chef

We have a unique opportunity for a talented, ambitious chef!

Our award-winning café is on the brink of expansion, and we've added a food truck and more catering to our lineup.

We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in the culinary field and a comprehensive knowledge of various cuisines. We're seeking a chef with a hands-on management style, someone who will be actively involved in the kitchen daily.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Fine-tuning recipes, food costing, writing weekly specials, and directing the physical plant's organization, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• You'll also oversee made-from-scratch production and manage line turn out, prepare large batch quantities, and assist with food prep, training, and mentoring our talented staff with the assistance of 2 Sous Chefs.
• In our high-volume (up to 800 covers a day) environment, you’ll need exceptional organizational skills, knowledge of catering production, Southern comfort foods, possess Excel and Word Doc skills, and have the desire to succeed.

What We Offer:

• A competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) $65,000-$70,000 plus up to a 10,000 bonus annually.
• A commitment to work-life balance with 55 - 58 hours per week and all holidays off.
