Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students for the upcoming school year in New Oxford, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with education regulations
• Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and independence

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best instructional practices
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and learning styles

Location:

• Position is based in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, serving a high school setting
