The Mission

At Dreamworks Remodeling , we don’t just "fix" houses—we transform them into dream homes. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-obsessed Project Manager to take the reins of our renovation projects from demo day to closing table.

You will be the CEO of the job site. Your goal? Keep the crews moving, the quality high, and the budget on track so we can turn properties fast without cutting corners.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will be fast-paced and ever-changing. If you love a desk job, this isn't it. You'll be responsible for:

• Contractor Selection: Vetting, hiring, managing and norturing relations with the best plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc in the business.
• Material Logistics: Predicting needs and ordering materials so they arrive before the crew is standing around waiting for them.
• The Orchestrator: Coordinating schedules between multiple crews on multiple projects to ensure no one is tripping over each other, but the house is never empty.
• The Bureaucracy Whisperer: Handling township permits, maintaining positive relations with inspectors and scheduling inspections to keep us legal and moving.
• Quality Control: Conducting site walkthroughs to ensure work meets "Dreamworks" standards. If it’s crooked, you’re the one who catches it.
• Financial Gatekeeping: Reviewing completed milestones and approving subcontractor payments.

What You Bring to the Table

• Construction IQ: You know how a house is built from the studs up. You can spot a shortcut from a mile away.
• Local Knowledge: Experience dealing with local Pennsylvania townships and building codes is a massive plus.
• The "Hustle" Factor: You’re proactive. You solve problems before they become "stop-work" orders.
• Communication: You can talk shop with a master plumber and then provide a professional update to the ownership.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using project management software or apps to track progress and budgets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in residential construction management , specifically in home renovations or high-volume flipping.
• Technical Knowledge: You must be able to read blueprints and possess a deep "working knowledge" of all major trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, and finishing). You need to know if a sub is doing it right without having to Google it.
• Township Savvy: Experience navigating the permit and inspection processes in local municipalities. You should know how to speak the language of a code inspector.
• Tech Proficiency: Ability to use project management software (e.g., ASANA), Google Workspace, and basic spreadsheet tracking.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to navigate active construction sites, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs if a delivery needs a hand.
• Clean Record: A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Communication: Fluent in English; Russian / Spanish proficiency is a huge plus for communicating with various crews.
• Education: High school diploma required; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a bonus, but we value on-site experience above all else.

The "X-Factor" (What we are really looking for)

We are looking for someone with a "General Contractor Mindset." This means you don't wait for instructions when a pipe bursts or a sub doesn't show up. You have the "owner's eye"—you treat every dollar spent and every day on the calendar like it’s your own.
