**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within an educational environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual conditions, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
+ Support campus operations by monitoring access points and helping to maintain order during routine hours and/or special events.
+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal supervisors and/or local emergency services as directed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
