Network engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Allentown, PA. Candidates must have deep expertise in Cisco networking, routing and switching, and must be well-versed in NERC CIP and GAS TSA compliance frameworks.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Network Engineer Job Responsibilities Include- Implement and support Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security.
- Troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, particularly NERC CIP and GAS TSA standards.
- Monitor network health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational technology (OT) environments.
- Document network configurations and maintain security protocols to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on operational technology environments.
- Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NERC CIP and GAS TSA, with hands-on experience supporting regulated infrastructure systems.
