CNC Machinist

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
• Use micrometers and other measuring devices to ensure precision.
• Communicate technical data effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Handle materials ranging from small, delicate parts to larger, heavier stock.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with mechanical machine operations, including drill press, lathe, grinder, and mill.
• Troubleshooting and machine changeover skills.
• Ability to use Solidworks, CAD/CAM, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of GD&T, system layout, and process development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a CNC machinist or certification from a state-approved technical program for CNC machining.
• Experience with ISO 9000.
• Programming experience with CAM is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must pass an eye exam.
• Capable of reading micrometers and other measuring devices.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, or stretch in keeping with the demands of a typical tradesman role.
• Able to manipulate small, delicate parts as well as larger, heavier stock and components.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
