Maintenance Mechanic II

Responsibilities: The Maintenance Mechanic II performs facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. The key responsibilities of this role include the maintenance of the buildings and systems to include electrical/lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance. This role is responsible for but not limited to including performing visits to facilities to evaluate the general appearance and condition for current and future repair needs and responds to support service requests and documents work completed. Light commercial building maintenance experience.
Responsibiliites include but are not limited to:
• Oversee and provide skilled trades duties for all properties.
• Meets production expectations in a timely and efficient manner.
• General clean-up of all branch properties.
• Promote a safe working environment by using safe practices.
• Perform duties with limited supervision.
• Good housekeeping, recordkeeping, and organization.
• Provide hand and power tools.
• Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown.
• Utilizes the CMMS to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required.
• Available for 24/7 emergency call out.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and climb ladders, stairs, & scaffolding
• To be subject to interior and exterior environments at all times of the year
• Visual acuity to distinguish colors, operate machinery & motor vehicles, make observations of facilities or structures, and use measurement devices
• Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds, occasionally up to 30 pounds, and frequently up to 10 pounds constantly in order to move objects
• Ability to work after normal business hours, weekends, and provide on-call service
3-5 years of related experience

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
