The Role

Are you a seasoned tax advisory professional who thrives on innovation and cutting‑edge technology? Unity Advisory is seeking a forward‑thinking Corporate Tax Director to elevate our client service offerings and drive tax excellence with precision, efficiency, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic corporate tax advisory services to clients, focusing on complex tax planning, structuring advice, and optimisation strategies.

• Provide expert guidance on tax-efficient business structures , cross-border transactions, and M&A tax implications.

• Develop and implement technology‑enabled tax advisory solutions to enhance analytical capabilities, scenario modeling, and strategic decision‑making.

• Drive business growth through targeted client development activities, thought leadership, and building trusted advisor relationships.

• Interpret and navigate complex tax legislation—identifying planning opportunities and advising clients on strategic tax positions.

• Design and implement robust tax governance frameworks to optimise tax positions while managing compliance and reputational risks.

• Coordinate with clients' tax compliance teams and other advisors to ensure alignment between tax strategy and execution.

• Lead multidisciplinary advisory teams, fostering innovation and excellence in tax consulting services.

• Deliver compelling, high‑impact tax insights and recommendations to C‑suite executives, enabling strategic business decisions.

• Create influential thought leadership content on emerging tax matters to position Unity Advisory as a leading authority in corporate tax advisory.

• Identify emerging market trends and develop innovative tax advisory service offerings to address evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CTA Qualified with 10+ years in corporate tax, including experience at leading accountancy firms.

• In‑depth knowledge of UK and international tax regimes, statutes, and emerging trends.

• Tech‑savvy: experienced with tax technology platforms and data‑driven tax solutions.

• Track record of successful business development and client relationship management

• Strong analytical prowess and problem‑solving ability—adept at navigating complex client scenarios and transforming them into tax‑efficient outcomes.

• Exceptional communicator: able to simplify complex tax matters for non‑experts and influence at the executive level.

• Leadership mindset: proactive, collaborative, able to inspire and develop high‑performing client service teams.

• Composed, commercial, and ethical—delivering results under deadline pressure while maintaining integrity.

• Experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

• Track record of successful business development and client relationship management.
