Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
Participate in Pre-IEP and IEP meetings and progress reviews
Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment tailored to student needs
Integrate assistive technology and adaptive strategies into daily instruction
Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and educators to support holistic student development Skills You Need Teacher of Students with Disabilities Standard Certificate or a Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate, or Teacher of Students with Disabilities CE or CEAS
Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills
