Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including moving machinery, conveyors, and related components.
• Hands-on experience working with electrical systems, including contactors, relays, VFDs, and 3-phase wiring.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair in an industrial setting.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Ability to perform conveyor maintenance, including inspection, adjustment, and repair.
• Capability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and the ability to follow established PM procedures.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and ability to assist with troubleshooting as needed.
• Exposure to PLC troubleshooting, with the ability to support identifying control-related issues under direction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team in a production environment.
• Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) with overtime as needed, including every other Saturday.
• Physical ability to walk and stand consistently throughout the shift and work safely around conveyors and forklift traffic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical degree or formal training in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus and strongly preferred.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus but not required.
• Prior exposure to multicraft maintenance roles, combining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development in advanced maintenance technologies and practices.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.

Excellent Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Optometry) - available 30 days after employment 401K Plan - The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions. Automatically enrolled at 3% contribution, with auto 1% increase every year up to 10%. Can increase up or down anytime. 80% company match with first 4%. Company match of 50% with next 4%. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools. PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends PCA provides Uniforms for Maintenance Technicians

This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,PA.
