CDL-A Tractor Trailer Driver – Carlisle, PA
Direct Hire –
Compensation:
- $26 per hour base rate
- Additional $1 per hour for night shifts
- Additional $1 per hour for weekend shifts
- Base rate increase available within 180 days
- Weekly pay
- Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pension, and PTO
Schedule:
- Full-time CDL-A Tractor Trailer Driver
- Four 10-hour shifts (4x10 schedule)
- Overnight hours
- Home daily to the Carlisle area
Route and Responsibilities:
- Deliver products from the Carlisle PDC to store locations
- Pick up backhaul loads from stores and vendors as assigned
- Transport refrigerated and dry grocery freight
- Secure all loads, maintain seals, locks, and proper temperature controls
- Assist store personnel with unloading as required
- Complete and maintain all delivery paperwork and signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Fuel, clean, and maintain assigned equipment
- Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record; no commercial DUI/DWI
- No personal DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
- Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be available for mandatory workdays on scheduled off days
- Ability to perform all physical duties associated with the role
- Company provides in-house new-driver training and a mentor program
