Project Controller
- Oversee and manage both the service and construction project accounting groups
- Manage the weekly subcontractor payment process and selection
- Process month end job cost entries and move into the general ledger
- Update and load project status reports for month end
- Assist with accounting review of contracts for new projects
- Manage monthly OCIP / CCIP reporting and associated entries
- Coordinate monthly AR meetings for both the service and construction accounting groups
- Attend and coordinate monthly high-risk WIP review meetings
- Assist with training and documentation of project accounting procedures
- Research and implement processes and system modifications to gain efficiency within the project accounting group
- Review and oversight of the tool tracking process
- Strive to enhance cross-functional training among the project accounting group
- Mentor, train, and develop staff members
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant discipline required
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a construction accounting role required
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, prior supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
