Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and set up CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders using work instructions, drawings, and programs. The role involves manufacturing first-run parts for in-process inspection approval and running remaining parts with specified tooling and methods. The ideal candidate will recommend tool offsets or program edits as needed and take precise measurements using micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders using detailed work instructions.
• Manufacture first-run parts for in-process inspection approval.
• Utilize specified tooling, programs, fixtures, and inspection methods to run remaining parts.
• Recommend necessary tool offsets or program edits.
• Take precise measurements with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines.
• Proficient in setting up, programming (preferred), making program edits, and changing offsets.
• Skilled in using measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Understanding of mechanical drawings and cutting tools.
• Experience in 3-axis milling, CNC programming, Mastercam, and editing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with G&M Codes is a plus.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven team environment.
• Advanced 3-4 axis programming skills with willingness to learn 4th and 5th axis programming.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $62400.00/yr.
