We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations for a growing fast-casual café in Malvern, PA. If you’re passionate about food quality, team development, and running a tight, efficient kitchen, this Kitchen Manager role is for you.

As Kitchen Manager, you’ll own daily BOH operations from open to close. You’ll ensure consistent food quality, efficient execution, and strong cost control while upholding the highest standards for food safety, cleanliness, and consistency. This is a hands-on leadership position essential to delivering great food and a smooth, reliable operation every day in Malvern, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and coach BOH teams; uphold service and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, and cost controls including COGS and waste
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure equipment readiness
• Analyze sales, labor, and product mix data to implement improvements and training
• Ensure full DOH compliance and lead food safety practices across all shifts
• Oversee retail kitchen production and support culinary team execution of recipes

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restaurant or hotel leadership with direct team management
• Proficiency with scheduling, inventory systems, and cost controls
• Demonstrated success in training, coaching, and performance management
• Working knowledge of DOH rules and sanitation practices
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays required
