Steven Singer Jewelers, a renowned jewelry retailer with a national market reach, is seeking a motivated and experienced Jewelry Sales Professional to join our team. As a sales team member, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales processes in our flagship location in Center City, Philadelphia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about jewelry, possess exceptional sales skills, and thrive in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their jewelry purchasing journey.
• Utilize product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the perfect piece of jewelry to meet their preferences, needs, and budget.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain the features, quality, and value of various jewelry items, including engagement rings, loose diamonds, fashion pieces and other accessories.
• Assist customers with custom jewelry orders, ensuring their specific requirements are met and communicating with our in-house design team as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing accurate and timely information to build trust and establish long-term relationships.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing our point-of-sale system and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings, continually expanding product knowledge to better serve customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance sales skills and stay informed about company promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, to accommodate customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury retail industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers effectively.
• Passion for jewelry and a keen eye for aesthetics, recognizing the value and beauty of different designs and styles.
• Energetic and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining inventory records.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive work culture and fostering a supportive environment.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software applications.
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays and accommodate occasional evening hours or special events.
• Extensive knowledge of various types of jewelry, diamonds, and precious metals, along with an understanding of jewelry appraisal and grading is nice to have but not required.
