Compensation Range: $80-100/hr on W2 ONLY
Job Description:
Seeking a self-starting Workday Payroll expert to manage payroll configuration, resolve system issues, and act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external consultants.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Configure and troubleshoot Workday Payroll, primarily for U.S. and Canadian payrolls

Manage ad-hoc payroll issues under tight deadlines
-
Act as a liaison between internal teams and Big 4 configuration partner

Analyze payroll discrepancies and fix directly in Workday

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Benefits, and HR
-
Stay compliant with payroll tax and reporting standards

Must-Haves:

Hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal instruction

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience running payrolls in both U.S. and Canada

Exposure to payroll compliance and tax arrears scenarios

Workday Payroll Certification
Previous experience fixing cross-functional payroll issues
Experience working with a Big 4 or consulting firm in a liaison capacity
