Job Description

The Director, Paid Social leads paid social strategy, planning, and team development for healthcare and life sciences clients. This role develops client-ready paid social recommendations across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, X, and other social media channels. The role partners across Media, Analytics, Strategy, Creative, and Client Services to deliver measurable campaign performance, strengthen cross-channel planning, and grow Klick’s paid social capabilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop paid social media strategies and plans across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, X, and emerging social platforms.
  • Lead client-facing paid social recommendations, performance readouts, and strategic planning discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and coach paid social team members, providing feedback, training, and guidance on strategy, execution, and optimization.
  • Apply brand safety, ad viewability, fraud filtering, and platform best practices to improve paid social campaign quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Media, Analytics, Creative, Strategy, and Client Services teams to connect paid social plans to integrated campaign goals.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of online advertising experience, including 5+ years of client-facing experience developing paid social strategy and campaign recommendations.
  • Hands-on paid social experience with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, X, GDN, Amobee Social, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members, including training junior talent and reviewing paid social work for quality and performance.
  • Experience applying brand safety, ad viewability, suspicious activity filtering, and fraud prevention practices to active media campaigns.
  • Advanced Excel experience and working proficiency in PowerPoint or Word for campaign analysis, reporting, and client-ready presentations.
  • Experience managing multiple client campaigns, timelines, deliverables, and performance priorities in an agency or client-service environment.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated-industry clients.
  • Experience planning paid social campaigns for the US market.
  • Experience building cross-channel communications plans that connect paid social to broader media strategy.
  • Experience developing new paid social processes, platform testing approaches, or channel growth recommendations.

Additional Information

This vacancy is for a backfill here at Klick Health. The base salary range for this position is between USD $125,000 - $145,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
