Position Description:


Penn Medicine Medical Group is seekinga full-time Cardiologist to establish a Chester County RegionCardiology Practice. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to expand and leadPenn Medicine Cardiology in the region of Chester County with responsibilityfor recruiting, mentoring, retaining, and leading cardiovascular physicianswhile advancing the mission and values of Penn Medicine.


The Physician Leader will foster aculture of teamwork, high reliability, and accountability in partnership withPenn Medicine Academic and Regional Cardiology Physician Leaders. The roleincludes strategic input on specialty growth, quality improvement, physicianengagement, patient experience, operational efficiency, as well as clinicaltrial expansion.


This physician will represent PennMedicine’s Chester County Cardiology practice on the Cardiology executivecommittee while strengthening professional relationships across all cardiologypractices affiliated with Penn Medicine, aligning regional and system-widestrategies, advancing quality priorities, and promoting a consistent standardof excellence. The leader will work collaboratively with independentcardiology practices in the Chester County and Delaware County regions, alongwith current Chester County Hospital cardiology leaders, to coordinate andcollaborate around overall growth, fiscal stewardship, clinical efficacy, andquality goals. Reporting jointly to the SVP for Regional Practices and theChief of Cardiovascular Medicine, the Chief will participate in leadershipdevelopment, budget planning, and annual goal setting and incentiveplans.



Position Requirements:

• Graduate of an accreditedSchool of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Board certified inCardiology
• Eligible for medicallicensure in Pennsylvania
• 5+ years of progressiveexperience in clinical practice, preferably in a group practice setting, withdemonstrated skills in operations, quality management, performance improvement,care redesign and team leadership
