NICU RN Job Details – Danville, PA
- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
- Location: Danville, Pennsylvania 17822
- Unit: Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU IV)
- Start Date: August 18, 2025
- End Date: November 16, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour shifts; rotating days/nights (minimum 4 nights in 4 weeks)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend/Holiday: 24 hours of Friday and 36 hours of Saturday/Sunday per 4 weeks; every other holiday during contract
- Hourly Pay Rate: $85
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to float to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or provide 1:1 patient care as needed
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, progress, and vital signs
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized neonatal procedures as ordered
- Educate and support families throughout the neonatal care process
- Adapt to unit needs, including assignments in the PICU or providing 1:1 clinical support
