Cross Keys Village offers on-the-job training for those who are passionate about caring for older adults, with the opportunity to climb a "career ladder." Such goals can be achieved by following the example below:

* Tier 1 - Personal Care Attendant (Non-Certified Caregiver)

(minimum high school diploma or equivalent - training will be provided on the job). This is ideal if you have little or no prior experience, or if you have had some caregiving experience at home

* Tier 2 - Personal Care Attendant - Med Tech

(in-house training is offered to pass medications and provide treatment to residents)

* Tier 3 - Resident Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA class/PA certified)

* Tier 4 - Resident Assistant - Med Tech (Certified Nursing Assistant and Med Tech trained)

(Certified Nursing Assistant and Med Tech trained)

* Tier 5 - Lead Personal Care Attendant or Resident Assistant

* Tier 6 - LPN

(Tuition Assistance may be offered to qualified team members)

Our current needs include:

* Part-time Evening Shift; working 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 28 hours every two weeks. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

* This position offers the opportunity to earn up to an additional $3.25 per hour.

* Part-time Night Shift; working 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. 30 hours every two weeks. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

* This position offers the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1.75 per hour.

* On-call as needed, with the ability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Job Description:

As a Personal Care Attendant or Certified Nursing Assistant working in Personal Care, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

* Providing direct care to residents with a variety of functional levels; from those who are alert, oriented, and relatively independent, to those who need assistance with several activities of daily living or those who require cuing due to cognitive impairment. Personal Care services include, but are not limited to, assistance with hygiene, bathing, dressing, incontinence management, applying/removing medical devices, and care of clothing.

* Assisting residents with general housekeeping duties as well as serving and monitoring meals.

* Participating in the review/revision of resident support plans and family meetings.

* Observing and reporting changes in residents to nursing supervisors.

* Documenting provided care in electronic care tracker.

* Treating residents with respect in accordance with the resident's Bill of Rights.

* Maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

* Prior experience working with older adults is preferred.

* Must possess a compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
