Ice Cream Maker

Milk Jawn is an award-winning small-batch ice cream company based in Philly. Our flavors are built from scratch and almost every ingredient that goes into our ice cream is handmade in our production kitchen.

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our ice cream production team — the people behind the pints, waffle cones, baked goods, and flavors our city lines up for.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Producing and packing ice cream

• Assisting with novelty production, such as ice cream tacos and ice cream sandwiches

• Ingredient prep and organization

• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

• Working collaboratively with the production team

• Helping maintain quality and consistency across all products

Food production, baking, kitchen, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred, but prior ice cream making experience is not required. We’re happy to train the right person.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

This is an active production role that requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced kitchen/production environment. You must also be able to tolerate working in freezing temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.

Full-time availability required.

Work hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 5pm.

Salary details

Starting pay is $17-19/hour base pay (dependent on experience), plus an additional $3-$8 per hour in tips. The employee tip rate in 2025 was an average of $5.70/hour.
