Lead the FlexScreen Line — A Day in the Life

Step onto the production floor at The RiteScreen Company, the nation’s leading maker of window and patio door screens. As the working supervisor for our FlexScreen line, you start the day with a quick huddle, lay out priorities, and set the pace. You’re hands-on—ready to run equipment, jump in where the work is, and model the standards you expect from the team.

Before machines spin up, you’ve staged tools, parts, and materials so every workstation is ready. Throughout the shift, you watch for quality and safety, solve problems in real time, and keep everything organized. You coach new hires, cross-train team members, and keep the 5S and Lean mindset alive in every task. By day’s end, you’ve tracked performance, shared progress with your crew, and left the area in excellent shape for the next run.

How You’ll Lead

• Operate equipment and support production directly when needed.
• Plan schedules and assign work to meet daily output targets.
• Stage work areas with correct tools, components, and materials.
• Onboard and train new employees; provide ongoing coaching.
• Run brief daily meetings to align priorities and communicate updates.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations for optimal performance.
• Identify quality and safety issues quickly and take corrective action.
• Monitor metrics, track performance, and share results with the team.
• Champion safety, 5S, and Lean practices every day.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing lead, supervisor, or comparable role.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Clear communication and strong problem-solving ability.
• Excellent time management and organizational habits.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards (or eagerness to learn).
• Experience in window/door manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure—or willingness to learn on-site.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other RiteScreen locations.
