Job Opportunity – General Surgery – Pennsylvania
Start Date: November 25, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5-day assignment, November 25 (7:00 AM) through November 30 (7:00 AM); 24-hour beeper call with approximately 2–4 hours of call-ins per day
Highlights:
- Focused call coverage assignment spanning Thanksgiving week
- Limited call volume with only 2–4 hours of anticipated call-ins daily
- 163-bed acute care facility using EPIC EMR
- Wide range of general surgery cases; scopes not required
- Diverse patient population across all age groups
- Credentialing timeframe of 60–120 days; temporary privileges available for clean files
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- DEA license with Pennsylvania address required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required
- NPDB self-query within 6 months required at time of presentation
- Compliance with vaccination requirements, including HepB and standard childhood vaccines (titers or proof of immunization required)
