IT Support Specialist
Our client, a prominent technology firm, is looking for an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to become part of their team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those eager to launch their career in the IT sector. You will be tasked with delivering technical support and assistance to end-users, as well as diagnosing hardware and software problems.
The IT Support Specialist will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure that all incidents are recorded and resolved promptly. You will also participate in setting up new devices, managing inventory, and engaging in IT projects as needed. This position provides an opportunity to acquire practical experience in a dynamic tech environment.Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Log all support requests and incidents in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members on various IT projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
