Receiving Associate Part Time

Part Time: Evenings & Saturday – Monday-Saturday

Seeking person to work Monday – Saturday with a flexible day off

Main duties consist of assisting with loading & unloading freight, product assembly, delivery, special orders, propane fills, and property maintenance.

• Work in outside weather conditions year round

• Schedule, load and unload customer deliveries in a safe and efficient manner with a working knowledge of all equipment.

• Assist customers with large or heavy items, bag products, special orders, etc.

• Using a radio/headset to effectively communicate with other associates or management

• Maintain organizational standards in the receiving departments & warehouses.

• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Forklift experience/certification preferred, but not mandatory

• Valid driver license & clean driving record

• Valid driver license & clean driving record (CDL helpful but not required)

• Must obtain PA medical card within 30 days of hire

• Assembly/Mechanical aptitude helpful but not mandatory

• Ability to drive non-CDL box trucks and delivery vans

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

-16yrs of age or older

-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs

-Stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch on concrete or asphalt for long periods of time

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

-Excellent work ethic, enthusiastic, dependable, detail oriented, and flexible for varied work assignments

-Experience in the field preferred but not required
