Remote Bookkeeper

Audacy , a leading digital media company specialising in audio entertainment, is seeking a meticulous and organised Remote Bookkeeper to join our team on a Full-Time basis. Audacy delivers engaging content, including music, news, and sports, through a vast network of radio stations and podcasts. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper to contribute to a dynamic and innovative leader in the broadcasting and digital industries. The offered compensation for this role is $25 - $30 per hour (USD) . Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.* Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
* Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
* Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and relevant regulations.
* Handle payroll processing and address any related queries. Qualifications * Proven professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
* A thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* An accounting qualification (e.g., AAT) would be highly advantageous.
