About the company:
- APX Enclosures a manufacturing company that fabricates aluminum and steel enclosures for a variety of industries. Our customers use our enclosures for traffic controls, communications, utilities, and other various market applications.
We are currently seeking a part time administrator to join the team and help with data entry and keep customer accounts. While this role is part time to start, we have potential to increase the role to full time with full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales team and specific customer accounts including customer service support, sales order processing, shipping documentation, and invoicing
- Gain product knowledge to field customer questions and provide quality service to customers
- Provide internal status updates on customer orders and report on any quality related issues that may arise
- Draft and submit quotes for potential orders
- Communicate clearly with customers
Requirements
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders both by phone and in-person encounters
- Well organized and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Computer skills: knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Ability to learn company's ERP system for processing orders from beginning to end.
- Education: High school diploma required; university degree is desirable but not required
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a customer service or administrative role is preferred
- Industry: Experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable
