Sales Operations Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic **Sales Operations Manager **to lead and optimize our sales functions. This person will manage and oversee all sales operations and sales quoting activities; ensures the company increases revenue year over year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates all sales quotes for existing and new customers.
- Driving sales through networking and strategic positioning.
- Plans, organizes, and directs production, administrative, and shop activities to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.
- Coordinates with company owners to establish production and quality control standards.
- Coordinates with company owners and shipping clerks to resolve all operational customer complaints.
- Utilize JobBoss ERP System to quote, create and track jobs.
- Coordinates with company owners to address organizational needs, equipment utilization and maintenance.
- Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
- Order all job materials and ensure it is on hand for all customers’ orders.
- Ensures that shop operations comply with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations
- Prepare all required reports and correspondence.
- Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Keeps up to date on overall activities of the company, identifying problem areas and giving feedback on actions that need to be taken.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by company owners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with JobBoss ERP system or equivalent ERP system
- Bachelor's degree, or related field
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints and related documentation to support production and order requirements
- Strong sales operations background, including quote generation, customer support, and coordination between sales and production
- Knowledge of financial processes is a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates flexibility and commitment to meeting job requirements, including working extended hours when required.

- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Strong knowledge of all OSHA safety requirements
