Senior Director of Fulfillment Center Operations
Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn how we are building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history:
As the leader of our fulfillment strategy, you will hold enterprise-wide accountability for all 7 facilities across the United States. This is a high-stakes, high-visibility role where you will bridge the gap between supply chain vision and floor-level execution. You aren't just managing boxes; you are leading the teams, systems, and safety cultures that power the Spreetail engine from coast to coast.
How will you achieve success:
- National Safety Leadership: Direct accountability for the safety culture and outcomes across all 7 US facilities; lead the safety leadership system to ensure our principles are realized throughout every level of operations.
- Operational Excellence & CI: Sponsor and drive continuous improvement across the network in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity to aggressively optimize overall operating costs.
- Customer Experience Advocacy: Champion the customer journey within the fulfillment network, ensuring every operational decision aligns with the company’s mission and service standards.
- Peak & Ramp Execution: Lead the strategic planning for seasonal peaks, focusing on the successful management and onboarding of Team Members.
- Financial Stewardship: Primary accountability for the financial performance of the entire fulfillment network, including budget development, performance monitoring, and consistent goal attainment.
- Strategic Vision & Bottleneck Mitigation: Anticipate nationwide operational bottlenecks and collaborate with stakeholders to align department objectives with long-term company vision.
- Innovation & Resource Planning: Partner with the Operations Excellence team to design and implement process changes, ensuring resource acquisition and systems are scaled for future business needs.
- Leadership Development & Culture: Relentlessly invest in the growth of the fulfillment leadership teams while fostering a culture that embodies our mantras: Act Like an Owner, Raise Your Bar, and Be Relentless.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Progressive Leadership (5–10 Years): A proven track record in management or senior leadership within high-volume fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Safety Culture Architecture: Experience building "Safety First" environments where frontline teams are empowered to identify hazards and contribute to continuous safety improvement.
- Multi-Site Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to set long-term visions (Foresight) and translate company-wide objectives into actionable plans across multiple geographic locations.
- Operational Project Management: Expert-level experience designing and leading large-scale projects that measurably increase efficiency, productivity, and the customer experience.
- Analytical Decision-Making: A history of using complex data to visualize problems and implement long-term structural solutions rather than temporary fixes.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across an entire organization to find efficiencies and drive results.
- Physical Stamina & Grit: Ability to meet the rigorous demands of the warehouse floor, including standing for 95% of the day and routinely lifting up to 70 pounds alongside the team.
- National Operational Flexibility: Experience managing the logistical demands of a national footprint, including monthly travel and the tenacity to lead through seasonal peaks and extended hours
