Job Summary:

Oversee Cumberland County addressing; coordinating between municipalities, public safety, and telephone companies maintaining the ANI/ALI database. Maintain the GIS road centerline, address points, emergency service zones, as well as creating and maintaining GIS data layers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG): the current and potential addressing for 33 municipalities and 2 federal government installations in Cumberland County.
• Maintain updated address information, road centerlines, zoning maps, emergency service zone, and all other county maintained GIS data.
• Validate telephone company customer records through interaction with telephone companies and municipal jurisdictions to ensure accurate 911 Automatic Location Information in the county’s 9-1-1 database.
• Create new GIS data layers and publish and web maps in support of county offices and the public.
• Interprets mapping data for processing and data input enterprise geodatabase.
• Attends meetings, training sessions as required.
• Maintain working relationship with 33 municipality’s staff in Cumberland County.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work:

Education:

• Bachelor degree.

Work Experience:

• Six (6) months experience with GIS.
