Undergraduate Medical Assistant
Student Medical Assistant – Ideal for Pre-Med, Pre-Nursing, or Pre-PA Students

What You'll Do:
- Gain clinical exposure by preparing patient rooms, setting up instruments, and assisting with basic procedures.
- Assist with direct patient care , including helping patients with transfers, collecting specimens, and preparing for exams.
- Perform phlebotomy and learn essential clinical techniques under supervision.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance eligibility and organizing patient flow.
- Interact with patients and healthcare providers, developing essential communication and professional skills.
- Handle medical records in compliance with HIPAA, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at healthcare operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and the PA Department of Health standards.

What We Look For:
- Currently pursuing a degree in pre-med, nursing, or a related healthcare field.

- Familiarity with medical/psychiatric terminology is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
