✨ About the Role

As a Mechanical Designer 1 , you’ll use your design skills and technical know-how to bring big ideas to life. You’ll create production and assembly drawings in SolidWorks , collaborate closely with engineers, and help ensure each project meets the high standards Cyclonaire is known for.

What You’ll Do

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks and PDM Vault

• Develop top-level assembly drawings for customers and production

• Collaborate with engineers to bring designs from concept to completion

• Manage design timelines to meet project deadlines

• Ensure drawings align with fabrication techniques and design standards

• Provide drafting support, documentation, and technical schematics

What You Bring

• Associate degree in Computer-Aided Design Drafting or 1–2 years of related experience

• Experience with SolidWorks , ACAD , or other 3D CAD tools

• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and dimensioning methods

• Great communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

• Familiarity with industrial equipment, metal fabrication, and design processes
