- Perform part inspections using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, indicators, comparators, and precision gages.
- Operate touch probe/vision coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for verification (no programming required).
- Compare parts against specified dimensions, tolerances, and finish requirements.
- Inspect for size, surface finish, overall appearance, and other critical features.
- Evaluate inspection results, determine part acceptability, and seek approval for deviations.
- Troubleshoot equipment or system issues using test equipment and prior experience.
- Package parts securely for shipment.
- Comply with all company quality system standards, safety, and security procedures.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Pass eye exam (with or without correction) required for aerospace final inspection role.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong written, verbal, or other forms of communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
- Ability to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hands-on experience in medical device, contract manufacturing, apprenticeship programs, or quality roles required.
- At least 1 year in a quality position or 2 years in manufacturing required.
- Familiarity with ISO, TS, or related quality management systems strongly preferred.
