Structural Engineer, PE - Production Housing

Webuild () is actively seeking a Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to take the lead in project management for engineering design within the realm of single and multifamily residential developments across the entire United States.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 6 years of robust structural engineering experience, particularly in the management of residential (single and multifamily) engineering projects. Your expertise should extend from conceptual planning through design, ultimately culminating in design acceptance. Experienced in crafting all structural engineering components, encompassing roof and floor framing, foundation plans, construction engineering details, and more, as necessary to compile a comprehensive engineering package.

In this dynamic role, you will demonstrate your capabilities by providing project guidance at every stage of development. This includes defining scopes of work, formulating budgets, establishing timelines, and actively engaging in hands-on engineering tasks. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior staff and directing their efforts in the design engineering of residential structural projects. Your skill set should encompass a diverse range of materials, including concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and potentially reengineered materials.

Moreover, you will be entrusted as the principal engineer in charge for projects, guiding clients through their entire life cycle including conducting client presentations, addressing client concerns, and fostering goodwill within the organization. Your leadership will be integral to a highly dynamic and innovative structural engineering practice group.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, with a preference for candidates holding a Masters in Structural Engineering or an MBA. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) with a specialization in Structural Engineering is mandatory. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Alternatively, we also welcome dynamic candidates with current Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration who are actively progressing toward obtaining their PE registration.
