Our Home is seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable team and oversee all aspects of the accounts payable function. This role is integral to ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting the financial integrity of the organization. This role is on-site role in our Bryn Mawr, PA office.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in accounts payable management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and optimize processes to improve efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and vendors, manage compliance with company policies and accounting regulations, and provide guidance and mentorship to your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the accounts payable team, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate with procurement and other departments to verify invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor relationships and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and issues.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, controls, and accounting principles.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the CPG industry is a plus.
