Research Coordinator Senior-01 Job Description Summary Job Description The Interventionist for parent-focused, LGBTQ+ adolescent health communication studies will facilitate a series of virtual, synchronous sessions with parents of LGBTQ+ youth. Each series will consist of five weekly sessions with 8-12 parents in attendance. During these sessions, the Interventionist will facilitate delivery, play intervention videos, present key information around LGBTQ+ adolescent health, and encourage discussions and questions among session participants. This position is part-time (nights/weekends as needed) and expected to last approximately three years. The Interventionist will also co-lead recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with the Project Manager. Job Responsibilities 1) Intervention Administration: Facilitates a series of virtual sessions with parents of LGBTQ+ youth, delivering study protocol and mediating discussions between parent participants. 2) Recruitment and retention: coordinates recruitment and retention efforts with the principal investigator and Project Manager; identifies potential eligible participants and retains them for duration of workshops and follow-ups. 3) Data collection, quality control and compliance: coordinates and conducts data collection, quality control and compliance in keeping with study protocols. 4) Performs additional duties as assigned.
