. Lead cross functional discovery sessions to develop a shared understanding of business processes, data, system behavior, ownership, and dependencies.
. Identify and document how critical data is created, updated, transformed, synchronized, and consumed across OLTP, ODS, OLAP, customer facing applications, and reports.
. Analyze impact assessments for proposed changes to business processes, applications, integrations, data structures, and reporting solutions.
. Identify conflicting business definitions, undocumented dependencies, ownership gaps, data inconsistencies, and unresolved decisions.
. Establish clear facts, assumptions, risks, options, recommendations, actions, and accountable owners when information is incomplete or evolving.
. Identify data lineage, quality, synchronization, timing, reconciliation, traceability, and control gaps and coordinate resolution with the responsible teams.
. Communicate complex data and technology concerns in clear business terms, including customer, operational, reporting, delivery, and compliance impacts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree
. Strong experience in business systems analysis, data analysis, solution delivery, or a related discipline involving complex enterprise applications.
. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data flows, transformations, lineage, synchronization, reconciliation, and downstream impacts.
. Ability to create structure and maintain progress when requirements, ownership, or system behavior are incomplete, conflicting, or evolving.
. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and explain technical issues in business terms.
. Highly organized, with strong ownership, attention to detail, and follow through.
. Proactive, curious, collaborative, and comfortable initiating conversations across organizational boundaries.
. Relevant accomplishments and demonstrated capabilities are more important than a specific number of years of experience.

Preferred Experience:
. Banking, payments, merchant acquiring, card processing, or financial services experience.
. Experience with high volume, transaction intensive environments where processing timing, synchronization, reconciliation, availability, and auditability are important.
. Experience collaborating with engineering teams that support high volume enterprise applications.
. Understanding of payment lifecycle functions such as authorization, clearing, settlement, funding, disputes, or merchant servicing.
. Exposure to data governance, audit, risk, compliance, or control focused initiatives.
What Success Looks Like
. Business and technical stakeholders have a shared understanding of how critical data moves through operational, analytical, customer facing, and reporting environments.
. Complex initiatives have clear direction, accountable owners, and documented decisions.
