We’re currently seeking a PT, every-other-weekend, Administrative Assistant for Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, PA.

WHAT YOU DO:
As an Administrative Assistant at Luther Acres, your organizational, communication, and customer service skills are key to supporting our managers, team members, residents, and guests. You’ll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
- Provide secretarial and communication support to our managers and senior team members, including composing and preparing correspondence with minimal instruction.
- Greet and direct visitors, guests and various business representatives in a professional and friendly manner. Assist residents with inquiries.
- Organize and maintain appropriate office files, complete documentation, and maintain inventory of office supplies and needs. May assist with billing for various services, sorting mail, coordinating transportation for residents, and handling financial transactions.
- Adhere to Luthercare’s established protocols, standards, and procedures and provide for confidentiality of sensitive/protected health information (PHI)
ABOUT LUTHER ACRES:
Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster County. Luther Acres is its largest community, with nearly 600 residents living across its independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing healthcare center.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to perform the functions required to push a wheelchair and transport residents.
PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/EDUCATION:
Two (2) years of experience planning/organizing activity programs
