Could you be the full-time Special Process Expert in West Mifflin, PA, we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a crucial role in coordinating the industrial control and training of the Special Processes (SP) for Adhesive Bonding/Gluing, helping to ensure quality and efficiency in our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and other departments to streamline processes, solve challenges, and drive excellence.

You’ll specifically take care of managing industrial risks and implementing process improvements, but also contribute to technology transfers and deliver training to operators and stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinating the industrial control of Adhesive Bonding Special Processes across various project phases, from tender to warranty.

  • Providing technical solutions and contributing to product design and industrialization during the tender phase.

  • Managing industrial risks through Process FMEA and implementing improvement action plans.

  • Delivering training to workers, EPU managers, and support functions on Adhesive Bonding Special Processes.

  • Ensuring adherence to customer requirements by performing internal and external audits.

  • Investigating and resolving non-conformities or incidents related to Adhesive Bonding Special Processes.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in process engineering, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.

  • Knowledge or experience in materials engineering, bonding, gluing, or painting in the rail or automotive industry is preferred.

  • Experience in practicing and training the special process of adhesive bonding (execution, definition, qualification in the railway/automotive industry preferred).

  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

  • Good understanding of Quality, EHS, and Ergonomics.

  • Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA) is a plus.

  • Skilled with IS tools, Process FMEA, and QRQC methodologies.

  • Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to train groups effectively.

  • Innovative mindset and a proactive approach to participating in business workgroups.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling.

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.

  • Contribute to innovative projects.

  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment.

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning opportunities.

  • Progress towards becoming a recognized expert in Adhesive Bonding Special Processes.

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
