Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic APP to join a dynamic team, supporting renowned surgeons with a primary focus on vein harvesting! Â

This is a 100% OR position with flexible 3x12s scheduling and a light call load!Â

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in cardiothoracic surgeries.
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and radial artery harvesting.
- Handle vein harvesting, patient closure, and post-operative care.
- Work with 5 APPs and 5 surgeons for seamless patient care.
- Participate in aortic surgeries, mitral valve replacements, minimally invasive procedures, CABG surgeries, etc.
- Flexible 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, willing to be flexible on blocks/ how the days are split up.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cardiothoracic APP.
- Proficiency in EVH and open radial artery harvesting.
- Strong CVOR surgical assisting skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume surgical environment.
- Dedication to top-tier patient care and safety.
