Full-Time Caregiver

Job Summary: AbaCares Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the homecare field with up to $15 per hour. As a PCA, you will provide care and support to individuals with physical or mental disabilities or other medical conditions. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. Preferred Shift: Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 1 PM Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
• Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and social outings
• Help clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Monitor clients' physical and mental health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Attend training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a reliable transportation
• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
