Golden Barrel Products - Customer Service Representative

Essential Job Functions :

• Receives and prepares new sale orders
• Monitors new sales orders by addressing questions, complaints
• Coordinates liaison between sales and materials, quality and manufacturing management and other personnel
• Establishes, develops and maintains customer relationships
• Maintains and supports customer relationships by making periodic business calls to customer locations
• Maintain a good working relation with co-workers and outside companies that work with the Zook Molasses or represent our company
• Answers customer questions and helps resolve customer complaints
• Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager
• Designated Safety Sensitive Position

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):

• Associate degree in a business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
• Two (2) years business/sales/customer service experience
• Food industry experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to operate motor vehicles during employment

• Familiar with customer base and product line
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
• Ability to understand and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form as they pertain to production
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to master intermediate reading, writing, and mathematic abilities

Essential Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Frequently required to walk
• Occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision

Working Hours:

• Standard working hours are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, any time between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position
• Overtime may be required, and hours are subject to change based on company needs
