Core Accounts and Virtual Account Product Manager - VP

The Product Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

This role will support the launch of the Real-Time Core Accounts solution in new markets to support the scale and up-time required for clients using the Virtual Account Wallet use case. Target clients for this solution are FinTechs and eCommerce clients who are integrating the solution into their own product as part of their capability stack. Citi is focused on supporting a real-time ecosystem able to support client structures including millions of Virtual Accounts and high volumes of transactions each month. This role sits within the Core Accounts and Payments Product teams within the Citi Services - Treasury and Trade Solution division.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners across product disciplines, assists in managing the overall performance of a given product suite and monitors performance drivers for the products and portfolios.
  • Define the vision and strategy for data-driven products, understanding and utilizing data, collaborating across teams, and ensuring data quality and governance.
  • Passion for pouring over data attributes and feeds and translating data insights into actionable products for the business.
  • Implements performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions.
  • Gathers market intelligence and develops market sizing studies and models to identify the attractiveness of particular markets segments and product offerings. Defines and analyzes sector trends, opportunities, and issues.
  • Represent customer needs and provide strategic direction on product development features, functionality, and overall competitiveness.
  • Builds consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization and key partners.
  • Participates in and prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensures products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in transformation, account ledger requirements, product development, and/or analytics
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$114,720.00 - $172,080.00
