TITLE : Full-Time Elementary Autistic Support Paraprofessional



QUALIFICATIONS : Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

• High School diploma required
• Meet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below:
  • Two years of post- secondary education coursework (48 college credits) or
  • Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDE or
  • Passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test or
  • Possess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities (preferred)
• Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months

REPORTS TO : Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Pay rate, work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with the York Suburban Educational Personnel Association negotiated agreement.
